Great comments so far people.  We have really enjoyed watching the Olympics and learning about the Ancient & Modern Olympics. New Zealand Olympic Athletes we are so proud of your efforts and for bringing home 13 medals. It must've been an awesome experience & the pinnicale or starting point for many athletes sporting careers. We have certainly been inspired by our athletes & hopefully some of us can aspire to be like them one day. We will continue to write our thoughts and hope you will enjoy reading about them.
Mrs Owen's favourite NZ Athlete- You are my hero Val. A well deserved GOLD for NZ.

My favourite Olympic moment was the 100 metre run by Usain Bolt. His time was 9.63. My favourite sport to watch was Athletics, with Nick Wills running in the1500m  and Valerie Adams in the Shotput. It was awesome.
